Hello everyone! Welcome to Keira’s Archives, a wonderful treasure trove where I spill all my weirdest thoughts and invite all the crazies and passionate people to talk about them with me!
I first started this blog in June 2015 under the name “Signing On” as a place to talk about books and share random thoughts on scrambled eggs. In December of 2017, the blog renamed and gave birth to the beauty you see today. This blog is a place to share the random thoughts, the amazing books (and the not so good ones), the best music and the most indignant rants. I hope you’ll join me on this crazy, chaotic journey of trying to understand my mind (you might even have fun, make new friends or discover something new).
Okay, so now you know about my blog, you are probably wondering what type of person I am! My name is Keira and I am probably one of the most indecisive people you’ve ever met, which is why I literally talk about everything here. However, indecisive certainly doesn’t mean I don’t know my own mind and I proudly share my honest, mostly unfiltered thoughts with anyone who cares to hear them, both online and in real life.
This blog started as a book blog because I have been reading since I was born (and I wouldn’t be surprised if my mum had read to me before I was born as well). I absolutely love fantasy and my ambition is to become an editor, so it’s safe to say that I am passionate about literature. However, I also managed to listen to 15 days (that’s 360 hours, 2160 minutes or approximately 7200 songs) of music in 2017, so I do have other hobbies.
Speaking of interests, I love nothing more than blankets and tea. Anything soft and pretty is guaranteed to make me smile, but I cry easily too (not in an “I’m so sensitive” way, but in a “oh you poor thing” or “that’s so beautiful” way). My favourite colours are pink, purple and blue (but pale versions of them) and jewel tones. Brown, on the other hand, is not a good colour: when I was younger I refused to eat chocolate because it looked like poop. Aged two, I realised the error of my ways and am now addicted the way most people are addicted to coffee, but I still don’t like the colour. I speak English, German and some French and I’m currently learning Korean as well! Feel free to talk to me in your native tongue, because I love learning new languages.
Now that you’ve read this massive “about me” (apologies, I’ve never been able to write them), welcome to my blog! If you’re here to ask me to review your book (if so, I’m honoured), please head over to my Review Policy, and if you’re here to entertain yourself, please check out some of my newest posts! If you’ve been here before… HIIII!
I will be flattered if you leave me a comment and I hope to speak with you soon! Keira x.
